<p>1. Go download and install the <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.thunderguy.com/semicolon/wordpress/code-markup-wordpress-plugin/">Code Markup</a> plugin.<br />
2. In the WordPress admin area, go to Options > Writing and uncheck &#8220;Users should use the visual rich editor by default&#8221; and uncheck &#8220;WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically&#8221;. Click Update Options.<br />
3. Click Users and at the bottom of the screen uncheck &#8220;Use the visual rich editor when writing&#8221; and click Update Profile.</p>
<p>Now you should be able to enter code tags when writing posts. :)</p>
